Good times, Good times

I didn't post the pic below at the time, but I love this one of Eric and Tim. Those of you who know me well can attest to my obsession with new words...like "Brokeback". Brokeback indeed...=) I actually think that Bianca took this picture because I was quite tipsy from the libations that evening and doubt that I had a steady hand!

So anyway, this weekend has been great so far. We went to see Bob Saget again on Friday night. That guy is so freakin funny. I don't know if it's sick or not but I also think he's kinda cute. Hmmm.. Anyway, he was great and we had a nice dinner there as well.

Bianca and Tim and I went to see Inside Man at the movies today. It was a good thriller..well written and keeps you guessing to the end. Then Bianca and I went to Target and had a very successful shopping trip. After that, we went to Nordstrom Rack to peruse the merchandise. We had a good time trying on all the 5 inch heel designer shoes for 300 bucks. At one point (the highlight really), this woman in the corner by the shoes let out a fart so loud! She ran away but Bianca and I totally saw her and almost killed ourselves laughing while falling off our stilletto heels. =) It wasn't just a little thhp fart....it was a full on loud ass butt rumber fart that had a trail off ending. I love it! Anyway, I had been drinking that new TAB energy drink (love it by the way) so I think I was a little drunk/high on all that energy stuff which made me laugh even harder. I swear, moments like that are so classic.
The weekend is halfway over and I feel like I still have so much to do. Tim has been playing Oblivion along with half of the gaming world, so I'm sure I'll get some time tomorrow to get all my stuff done. Seacrest, Out!

I have OCD

I'm obsessed. When I get on a kick of something, I can't control myself. Right now I am watching Deal or No Deal on NBC. I actually yelled at the person playing. She totally duffed it up! I bet she's going to get a terrible deal from the banker now. (I know, it's sad) Let me now sum up the rest of the things I am currently obsessed with:
1) "Unwritten" by Natasha Beddingfield
2) 8th and Ocean on MTV
3) Allure/Glamour/Real Simple magazines
4) Squirrels and their abnormally large balls ( I'm sick, I know)
5) Chocolate Easter Eggs by Cadbury with the crispy outer shell and yummy choco inside
6) Anything at Target
7) Online Bill Pay with Bank of America
8) Making lists

I think I need therapy...hmmm

Boo sharks

Tim and I went to the sharks game today. It was an odd game because they played not very well for the first period but then came back. Unfortunately, they lost in a shoot out. Close games like that make me nervous....I have anxiety when it comes down to the end. Oh well. At least we had yummy hot dogs and I got a cool long sleeved T to wear to future games.
Tim and I are going to settle down now and watch some netflix. I'm not sure what we have but I'm sure it'll be good. In terms of new movies, I really want to go see V for Vendetta but I know it's super violent. However, everyone so far has said it is a super movie and a great commentary on the way things could be with the Bush administration. Plus I love Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving so I think this will have to be a movie that I just go to knowing that I'll have to turn away at some parts...
Anyway, I also have a bunch of work I have to get to. Peace out.

I love Wednesdays (and juice)!

Wednesday's are fun for me. I work from 8:30-10:30 and then from 2:30-7:30. It gives me a nice chance to run errands, clean the house and have a nap. I have 5 or 6 re-exams rescheduled for this evening so I'd better rest up before I go back to work. Actually, the apartment just needs a quick tidy and I'll be good to go.

I need to go to Target and the market. Target has such great clothes right now. I'm really surprised. I haven't had a good browse around there in awhile so I think this weekend it will be time for a browse. I know this can be dangerous for the wallet, but, everyone needs a Target fix on a regular basis. =) I also need my eyebrows doing. You know how you can try to wrangle them yourself....but then it gets to the point when they overtake you? I think I'm there now. I must have them groomed this weekend.

Anyway, nothing much else to report. It's nap time I think. Zzzzzzzzz.

The long and now short of it

Well, the cutting took place on Friday. I have to say that I was very nervous. However, I'm really glad that I did it. Its sooooo much easier to take care of now and it takes about 5 mins to curl it. Yipee for short hair.
Tim and I had a nice weekend. We were bums and ran errands. I love those kinds of weekends. I made an attempt to start watching Walk the Line, however, I had to break off to jet up to Fremont to adjust my mum as she hurt her back. I'm sure I'll get back to the movie soon and then I will add my two cents. (As always)
I'm going in late today to work so I'm going to go out to breakfast with my mum. I love breakfast. If I could go out for a meal, breakfast would always be my choice! Too bad Tim isn't a breakfast person.....well at least we usually go to places that make lunch type food at the same time.
Anyway, it's another crazy rainy day. Drive safe everyone. Seacrest out!

Say Goodbye

Well boys and girls, the time has come for me to part with my long hair. I've decided to finally cut it tomorrow. It's not going to be super short, but several inches will be lopped off. Devotees will remember (That's for you B) that I've had long hair for awhile now. However, I'm trying to not look so young at work now so I think a haircut is in order. People can be a little wary of a doctor who is half their age and looks about 18. =) So....the next time you all see me I will be a few strands lighter but hopefully looking a few years older! Til then...

Up in arms

Are we all ready to take up arms and protest the surprise win of Crash last night, as everyone else in Hollywood seems to be? The Oscars have turned into something difficult for me, as I'm finding over the past few years that I'm not seeing a lot of nominees until they come out on DVD so of course I haven't seen them when the award season rolls around. Ironically enough, Tim and I just watched Crash yesterday. Do I think that is deserved it's win? I don't know. I haven't seen all the rest so I don't think it is fair to say. I already have the other movies in the que on Netflix but who knows when Brokeback Mountain will roll out on the DVD? Crash was a good movie and I liked it more than Tim. However, it was more of a "How many famous people can we pack into a movie about stereotypes" type of deal. I think the best part of it was Ludacris talking about how black people shouldn't use the n-word anymore because it is degrading. White people don't go around calling each other honky and cracker, he says. So why do black people continue to use that word? He makes a good point although an ironic one (I'm sure it was planned that way), because as a rapper, he is the champion of using the n-word every chance he gets. Oh well, Crash is at least decent, but I won't make my final decision on it's win worthiness until I've seen the rest. Hell, I just saw Finding Neverland which was nominated last year! Good movie by the way. Johnnie Depp at his finest.
Anyway, enough about the Oscars. I have to finish my work comp stuff before our office meeting this morning. Have a good day all...

How embarassing for me

Well I admit it. I have been terrible over the last few weeks with the posting. Although, it is due to the fact that I have started working and don't get home until 7:30 or so now. I can't believe that I have finally entered the working world. I've always been a student, so this whole experience has been crazy.
My first week was good. I basically followed the head doc around and took her notes for her. I'm getting myself acquainted with all their procedures and I think this is going to be a great place for me to be. I feel like I fit in really well so I think that I really did make the right decision.
In other news, here are some pictures from Karaoke last night. It was girls versus boys in the medley game at this point. Eric and Tim were singing Take On Me by A-Ha, which we all know is a quality song. Especially the point where the lead singer hits that really high note (pause for you all to sing it in your head) Well, Eric and Tim can both hit that note. Impressive, I know. It was a great time and I think we are ready for the Karaoke circuit. =)
I promise I'm going to be better with my postings. I swear. I know there are peeps out there who rely on the blog for updates on my life ...Shout out to Kelley in Canada! Peace out.
