The return of Jason Bateman!

Moviefone: 'The Break-Up' Movie Trailer Premiere
Besides Vaughniston, this movie stars Jason Bateman as a therapist, I think. I would LOVE Jason to be my therapist..not my analrapist thought. I'm not into that. =)

I have a contract!

I got my contract today from my new boss. I'll be starting on March 1st! Yay! Actually, I'm going with her to a conference on Saturday in LA. We are flying down in the AM and then returning at night. I think it will be good to be at a conference surrounded by lots of successful docs. I think it will really make me feel like a doctor. The only thing is that she said I look really young (Shocker, right?) so I have to try to "old" myself up a bit. I'm going to go pants shopping this week which puts me in a little bit of a foul mood as I HATE shopping for pants. Girls, I know you feel my pain! Anyway, I'm getting whatever I can and I don't care about size. It just doesn't matter anymore. I can't have one more shopping trip be depressing because nothing fits properly. So I am throwing caution to the wind and buying pants pants willy nilly. =) Other than that, nothing else is going on. Tim and I had a nice time this weekend spending time together. Today Tim was actually off of work so he spent most of the day beating games on the XBox 360. Tomorrow I am going to see someone about my taxes because they are just too difficult to do them myself (I tried...) Wish me luck with the pants shopping!

Why I love Best Week Ever

YouTube - Tom Cruise on Oprah - As It Should've Been
This is hi-larious. I love video editing! In case you don't know...this is spliced video from Tom Cruise's interview and Oprah's bashing of fallen author James Frey.

Did you all see this?

As we all know I am addicted to the gossip. Here is the most recent scandal....I understand that Britney says she was escaping the popozao, but why didn't she give the kid to her bodyguard to put in the back child seat while she drove? I dunno. We shall see more as the story unfolds.

Finding a balance

Blogger has a scheduled outage at 9:00 so I'd better hurry with my post! =)
Today I met with the doc that I am going to be working with. She kinda changed the hours that I will be working so that made me nervous that I wasn't going to be able to continue with my other insurance job. However, I talked to my insurance boss and he said that it won't be a problem and they will figure something out. I feel much more relived now. You know when you have something weighing on your mind and you just want to get it resolved? I hate that feeling.
Tim is playing Call of Duty on the Xbox 360. It seriously sounds like WW3 is starting in here. I can be laying in bed and the bombing from the game practically shakes the walls. Crazy. The one good thing about our new pimpin sound system is that there is a "night" mode that scales back the volume for night-time. Ah technology, you are my saviour.
The Office is on tonight. If you are not watching it, you must start. We wouldn't want it to go the way of the AD. =(

Superbowl Sunday

Whassup peeps!
Today was a fun day. I had the gang over to watch the big game. I must say that I was proud of my grub as it was tastee! Especially the crescent rolls with cream cheese and bacon bits. YUM!
In other news, I got the job that I was hoping for. I am now going to be an associate doc at a nice practice in Sunnyvale. Yahoo! Things are starting to look up for me =)
Tomorrow Tim and I are going with my boss/good friend Todd to see the Sharks play the Calgary Flames. This is especially cool because Todd is from Calgary. I'm sure some good trash talking will ensue between the boys. I'm there mostly to yell obscenities and act a fool. I also like the fighting. I always hope someone will take of their skate and try to stab another player like Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore. =)
Anyway, it's time to start cleaning up the house. There's not much to do but I'll feel better if it gets done tonight. There is nothing worse than getting up in the morning to a dirty sink full of dishes.

PS - Only 5 more days to the culmination of AD on that wretched Fox network. A special menu must be planned. I'm sure freezing of B-A-N-A-N-A-S dipped in choco will be in order!
